Prohibition Liquor Co.
Originally created by a couple of Adelaide lads with a passion for gin, Prohibition Liquor Co. is one of the most unique venues in Adelaide. Specialising in handmade small batch craft gin, PLC operates out of an old warehouse turned distillery bar. The bar is open Wednesday to Sunday, serving more than 60 craft gins as well as South Australian craft wines and beers., well-accompanied by food menus showcasing the best local produce – antipasto, cheese, dips, and gourmet toasties. To top it all off, PLC has won more than 50 international awards.
Maybe Mae
Hidden in plain sight… Maybe Mae is an underground lounge bar disguised in a tunnel between Peel and Leigh Street. The concealed tunnel entrance and dim mood lighting helps build the secret society atmosphere and narrative. Their ever-changing cocktail list champions syrups made from freshly juiced fruit and seasonal ingredients. The name ‘Maybe Mae’ was inspired by entertainment icon Mae West, the interior follows by reflecting her femininity and glamour.
