Unique places to host your work event

Forget a boring work event – host your colleagues in one of these fun, inspiring, and uniquely South Australian locations.

LOT. 100

Open, modern, and environmentally-focused, LOT. 100 is a lively and beautiful spot to host your work event. The Adelaide Hills venue is a craft brewery, a small batch distillery, and a restaurant with locally sourced ingredients, so customers can eat, drink, and experience South Australia from the part-industrial, part-agricultural site. With long tables both indoors and outdoors, LOT. 100 gives work groups a lot of space to collaborate and a lot to love.

Malt shovel taphouse Adelaide

Overlooking Adelaide’s famous River Torrens, the Malt Shovel Taphouse is an upscale casual venue with beautiful views and a prime location. The beer bar is right in the thick of Adelaide’s action, situated across the river from the Adelaide Oval and adjacent to the Adelaide Festival Centre, the Adelaide Convention Centre, and soon, a $700-million multipurpose entertainment arena. For a centrally located work event with a large balcony, and an upscale casual menu and environment, head to the Malt Shovel Taphouse.

CHALK HILL WINES

Atop rolling McLaren Vale hills sit Chalk Hill Wines and Never Never Distilling Co., two established South Australian alcohol brands that cohabit a modern hilltop oasis. The building – made of sleek wood, floor-to-ceiling windows, and corrugated iron walls -overlooks the famous wine region and other nearby distilleries, so it can be a standalone destination or a stop along a McLaren Vale wine tour. For offices that enjoy local gin, wine, grazing boards, and views, Chalk Hill Wines and Never Never Distilling Co. cannot be beat.

PLANT 4

Plant 4 and sister building Plant 3 are two interconnected hospitality hubs in the ever-growing creative and residential suburb of Bowden. Just a few minutes outside of the CBD by train, the two sites are bustling with diverse eateries, quirky retail stalls, a hair salon, and a brand-new brewery with beer brewed on-site. Guests of Plant 3 and Plant 4 can dine in restaurants’ designated areas, or they can buy food, drink, and gifts individually and reconvene in the communal dining spaces or on the vast green lawn. With copious options, a vibrant atmosphere, and ample indoor and outdoor seating, the neighbouring hubs have something for everyone in your office.

Community – lot fourteen

Many of Adelaide’s creative and tech industry professionals work in the CBD’s innovation hub: Lot Fourteen. Home to the likes of Microsoft, Google Amazon Web Services, the Australian Space Discovery Centre, and more, Lot Fourteen is buzzing with the who’s who of tech, and they’re all running on the hospitality of the hub’s kiosk, Community. Community is a café by day and a wine bar by night, so it’s available to host your day or night-time work event. Set in a unique hexagonal building, Community spills into the street, so there’s ample space both inside and outside.
